Project: Empower –Activate - Success

Program Description: Project: Empower_ Activate_ Success is an 8-week enrichment program, designed to teach, educate, and empower young women and men ages 14-18 years, to take ownership of their lives and develop the necessary skills to accomplish their goals. Through learning the importance of entrepreneurship, self-empowerment, and self-confidence the young women and men who participate in the program are equipped with the skills to become community leaders and entrepreneurs.
The
young women and men who participate in Project: Empower_ Activate_ Success must
make a commitment to learn and become empowered throughout the 8-week journey.
Participants meet 1-day per week for 2 hours on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-12:00
p.m. Each session will cover elements within the word Empower. Through open-discussions, worksheets,
media, role-play, and creative activities young women and men become empowered
to advance in multiple areas of their lives. At the conclusion of the program
each participant will complete a program evaluation, and commit to having one
update with program coordinator via phone or email post program completion.
